Who Owns Larry's Coffee? (The Real People Behind the Bean)

The Short Answer: Larry’s Coffee is 100% independent and family-owned by Jessie Lotrecchiano and Husband Sandro Niessen. Larry's hasen't sold out to a massive conglomerate or a private equity firm. The company is owned and operated right here in Raleigh by Jessie Lotrecchiano and Sandro Neissen, a husband-and-wife team who live in the community and work on site!

Can I Visit a Coffee Roastery in Raleigh for a Tour?

The Short Answer: Yes! We love showing off our facility (located at 1507 Gavin St.). The Helm, our onsite shop is open weekdays 9-5:30 and 9-12 on Saturdays; folks are always welcome to watch the roast, grab roasted coffee, or enjoy a cup of drip. While we are a busy working roastery (watch out for forklifts!), we love to show off how the coffee is made. Plus our building has been renovated with some great sustainability features including toilets that flush with rainwater!

Where is Larry's Coffee Roasted? (And Why That Matters for Freshness)

The Short Answer: We roast every single bean right here in Raleigh, North Carolina. Specifically at our dedicated sustainable facility in the Five Points neighborhood (1507 Gavin Street, to be exact). We roast every day, Monday through Friday. This means if you live in the Triangle, your beans were likely spinning in our drum less than 48 hours before they landed on your doorstep.

Where Can I Buy Fresh Roasted Coffee Beans in Raleigh?

The Short Answer: You can buy the freshest beans in town right off the roaster here at Larry's Coffee. While many Raleigh grocery stores carry local brands, the beans can often sit on the shelves for weeks. For the freshest  experience (often within 24-48 hours), visit Larry's Coffee at our sustainable facility in the Five Points neighborhood (1507 Gavin St Raleigh NC 27608).
