During the late summer of every year 160,000 of our bright and backpacked kids head off to school as we sip our coffees and hope for their futures. As the kids arrive at one of 187 schools in Wake county and sit down ready to learn from one of our 10,000 teachers whatever was hoped for begins to play out in activities and songs and plays and sports and friendships and so much more.
At Larry's coffee we know our coffee is there in the early mornings, during the long days at practice, and the little breaks in the day where you check in with yourself while taking a sip. We wanted to find a way for those moments to mean a little more so we created a new blend called Inspiring Teachers. Like all of our blends, this medium roast with bright flavors of dark cocoa, dried apricots, cherries and walnuts is filled with 100% organic, fair trade beans. And $2 for every bag purchased will be put into a fund that we will set aside for Wake County teachers and teaching assistants to receive $500 grants they can use for their students and classrooms.
